The Long Awaited Post
Thursday, 15th of December 2005 at 6:40pm
Okay so yeah I broke my promise of posting on the 1st - no surprise there.
Anyhow, this is going to be a big long blog with a whole heap of pictures. It wont quite cover everything that it could if I had of blogged on a regular basis between the last time I posted and now but it does have a fair bit.
I also have no idea of what order the events in this post happened so they're just all going to be put in any random order that I think fits :-)
So firstly, here's the answer to the mystery image that I posted a few weeks back. Loky had the right idea and Mike got it pretty much spot on.
The full sized image can be viewed here.
As I said I bought a HP iPAQ, it's pretty cool - does all kinds of fancy stuff especially with WiFi. Did a bit of wardriving, managed to connect to a few AP's and get free internet access. There's so many insecure access points around it's unbeleiveable. I ran a program called WiFiFoFum and picked up about 50 insecure (and by that I mean without even WEP - not that that's secure anyhow) from Central Station to Grovely Station.
I should post up the log of it one day if I could be bothered. Anyhow, here's a pic of my cool PDA. The photo is nice and crappy with a whole heap of glare from the flash but oh well.
Yesterday I got a whole heap of new Ubuntu CD's. I'm not sure why I keep ordering them, but I suppose they're handy to give out to people. So if anybody wants one give me a yell and I'll give you one.
So a little while ago I went on this cruise with Rod (and AMC) to somewhere down the coast and over the border to NSW. It was a good day although on the way home it started to rain really heavy - even hailed in some places. Luckily we avoided that.
The highway was quite insane, the guys decided it would be fun to weave traffic at high speed. I have to say it was pretty fun but there were a few close calls.

I have a whole heap of pictures from that day in the gallery so check them out also.
So I may have posted a while back that we installed a PC into Rod's car? I can't really remember and I'm too lazy to check back. Anyhow I've got some pictures up so here's what we did.

More pictures of the installation are available in the gallery.
