Telstra Does It Again

Well, I'm just going to say that Telstra sucks. It's 2:30 on Friday and I suddenly lose sync on my DSL router, I wait a second to see if it will reconnect. No luck. I decide that I'll do the responsible thing and performed an isolation test. Still no luck.

At this stage I give up and go do some other things thinking that if I come back to it later maybe the problem will have fixed itself -- I was wrong.

Today I found out that Telstra had been down the road doing some work so I'm assuming that they saw my line and though "Oh that's Dan's line, I'm gona pull that sucker out!".

So I've called TPG tech support and they've lodged a line fault with Telstra and it *should* be fixed late Monday or sometime Tuesday.

The worst part about this is that now I'm so bored that I could do some assignments, only problem is I need to get online to download the assignment specification sheet in order to do them. Oh well, I guess that just means I get to watch more MythBusters ;-)
