Internet Dramas

Okay so anybody who knows me will realise that I have a mild addiction to the Internet, and recently I have not been online. This is due to the fact that my Internet decided to randomly start messing up, after many e-mails and phone calls to my provider they decided to lodge a fault with Telstra.

Long story short, 2 modems died. 1 modem is alive again (D-Link warranty department gets my thumbs up). I get a big bill for Telstra coming out. I had 70 new e-mails when I got online this morning. I can use netbank again. Finally, and most importantly - my withdrawls are no more.

That's about all for now really.

Life without a connection to the internet is like life without a soul, I have to move very soon which means no internet for probably 1.5 months.

Woe is me.

BBR, I feel your pain. Although I guess you know it's going to happen so you can sorta plan ahead, I was cut off and had to go to net cafe's and whatnot in order to send some important e-mails etc.

Mike, Yep it surely did. Now it's broken again, I'm not sure if it will still be covered under warranty either - guess I'll find out when I could be bothered sending it back.
