A Short Day Turned Long..

Well, today was action packed - well, not really. First of all I'll start by saying I left my lecture Uni at 12:40 so I could make it down to the bus stop for the 12:45 407 service. I made it to that bus so that was no problems, so into the city I go, walk from the bus stop to the train station and wait for my train.. Now this is where the problems start - first the loudspeaker informs me that the train will be arriving on the opposite platform so I and everybody else moves over, then we get told to go back again. fun fun. So anyhow, by the time the train actually gets in it's about 1:30 and the train was supposed to leave at 1:23 so it's running slightly late. The train is usually supposed to arrive at Ferny Grove at 1:50. Now the connecting bus at Ferny Grove *should* wait around for 5 mins or so, so I figure that maybe the train can make up 2 minutes and I'll be set. Basically, as you could probably guess -- this didn't happen. Next bus was set to arrive at about 3:20, which is an hour and a half wait so I didn't want to wait for that so I called home and got dad to come pick me up which wasn't for another half an hour so I was freezing my ass off for that time (It was apparently 9 degrees today).

Okay enough rambling about my crappy day and how sucky Queensland Transport is and on to more important things... Okay, I've really got nothing else to talk about now that I've ranted on about my daily travels.

Oh, tomorrow is the day that I'm going to abuse my TPG quota and hopefully download 10 gig of stuff at 1.5Mbit without being capped down to 64Kbits so that should be fun for the whole family. Well actually, the rest of the family will lose out if they're trying to do anything other then talk on MSN while using the net but I guess that's their problem isn't it.

I'd say that's about it for me, I watched Eight Legged Freaks before -- pretty crappy movie, nothing special at all. Also, yes the date on this post is correct and it is a Friday night and I'm not out (yet) and I am planning on staying home because I'm sick :-( but I guess if somebody calls me then I'll just *have* to go out ;-)
